“Ini mau Lebaran sehingga persiapan-persiapan mengenai ketersediaan, utamanya bahan pokok, itu menjadi sangat penting. Untuk beras saya kira stoknya tidak ada masalah,” ungkap Jokowi di Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta Timur, Senin (4/3/2024).
Meskipun demikian, untuk bahan pokok lainnya, Jokowi menyatakan akan melakukan peninjauan lebih rinci terlebih dahulu. Namun, dia menyebut bahwa harga beras sudah mulai menurun di beberapa pasar.
“Bahan-bahan lainnya nanti secara detail saya lihat di lapangan. Tapi di beberapa pasar, coba dilihat sekali lagi dilihat mengenai beras, di Pasar Cipinang atau di Pasar Johar, di Karawang, sudah mulai turun,” tuturnya.
Jokowi berharap bahwa dengan panen besar yang segera tiba, pasokan beras akan meningkat dan harga akan semakin turun. Namun, dia juga mengingatkan agar harga gabah tidak turun secara drastis untuk memastikan petani tetap mendapatkan keuntungan yang layak.
“Kita harapkan karena panen raya akan di lapangan mulai panen dan panen raya segera mungkin dalam satu bulan ke depan akan terjadi. Saya kira harga itu akan turun banyak,” terangnya.
“Gabah juga saya mendapat informasi di lapangan sudah turun, tetapi juga turunnya jangan drastis, karena petani juga perlu diberikan ruang keuntungan,” tukasnya.
