Jadi, dalam dunia kepenulisan media online, istilah moderasi mengacu pada proses ketika editor menimbang-nimbang tulisan yang dikirim oleh seorang kontributor. Proses inilah yang membuat tulisan kita atau seorang kontributor tidak segera terbit dengan cepat.
Menunggu memang hal yang sedikit membosankan. Tapi ingat, menunggu adalah bagian dari proses pemilahan dan pemuatan sebuah tulisan. Namun kadang, kecutnya saat kesabaran telah kita bentangkan lebar-lebar, justru berakhir dengan sebuah penolakan. “Mohon maaf tulisan yang anda muat belum bisa kami terbitkan” adalah kalimat yang lumayan mengerikkan bagi seorang kontributor tulisan. Alih-alih tulisan kita dalam pemrosesan, ternyata tulisan kita ndak lulus sortiran.
Itu sih masih mending, dikirimi surel balasan walaupun berisi penolakan. Banyak lagi media besar yang tak ada waktu meladeni tulisan kontributornya yang tak tembus meja redaktur. Ya… sebagai kontibutor, tak ada pilihan lain selain sabar, sadar dan kembali ikhtiar.
Namun, bagi kalian kontributor yang sepenuhnya percaya diri alias PD dengan gagasan yang anda sajikan tetapi anda nggak sabaran, anda perlu sekali untuk faham bahwasanya editor tidak hanya memilah 1-2 tulisan, melainkan bisa sampai ratusan.
Nah yang jadi pertanyaan, jadi berapa lama sih kontributor harus menunggu proses moderasi berlangsung? Supaya anda sekalian memiliki sedikit gambaran, dan tidak terburu-buru khawatir lantas mengirimkan tulisan yang tak kunjung dimuat tersebut ke laman media lain, anda perlu menyimak tulisan berikut.!
Perlu diketahui, moderasi dalam setiap media online berbeda-beda dan tidak bisa di pastikan sama dan dipukul rata. Menilik dari pengalaman pribadi saya, lamanya moderasi tergantung pada banyak faktor seperti banyaknya kontributor tulisan yang masuk di minggu itu, topik dan sudut pandang yang kita sajikan relevan dengan isu terkini ataukah tidak, unsur kebaruan pun juga berpengaruh besar. Karena di meja redaktur tentu terjadi persaingan kualitas tulisan.
Jadi, jika tulisan yang anda kirim relevan dan sangat sesuai dengan isu aktual, sudah pasti moderasinya jauh lebih cepat. Namun Jagan khawatir jika tulisan yang kalian kirim belum segera dimuat, berikut adalah prakiraan waktu moderasi di beberapa media online terkenal:
1. Qureta.id
Di laman qureta, moderasi berlangsung sekitar satu mingguan. Qureta berbeda dengan laman lainya proses mengirim sampai moderasi berlangsung dalam akun qureta yang telah kita buat sebelumnya. Sedangkan kebanyakan media online meminta agar kontributornya mengirim lewat surel.
2. Terminal mojok
Di terminal mojok moderasi berlangsung sangat sat-set watwet. Ya, di terminal mojok moderasi hanya berlangsung beberapa jam saja. Pernah saya mengirim tulisan jam 11 siang, nah pada pukul 14.00 an saya sudah mendapat email balasan bahwasanya tulisan sudah diterbitkan.
3. Rahma.id
Rahma.id proses moderasi berlangsung antara 5-7 hari. Ketika sudah lebih dari 7 hari dan tulisan anda belum dimuat, bisa dipastikan bahwa tulisan anda belum sesuai dengan kriteria rahma.id. Tapi jangan khawatir, biasanya Rahma.id akan mengirim surel balasan berupa pesan rekomendasi laman yang cocok dengan model tulisan yang kita kirimkan.
4. Mubadalah.id
Proses moderasi berlangsung cukup lama sekitar seminggu-10 hari. Pun tanpa surel balasan. Anda perlu mengecek secara berkala laman mubaddmalah untuk mengetahui update tulisan yang anda kirim.
5. Millenials.id
Moderasi berlangsung lumayan singkat sekitar 3-7 harian. Namun lagi-lagi millennialis.id tidak mengirim surel balasan perihal status tulisan yang dikirimkan.
Bagaimana wahai kontributor? Sudah siapkah kalian memanjangkan nafas-nafas kesabaran? Ya, kesabaran tidak hanya menjadi koentjie bagi seorang penagih utang, lebih penting lagi seorang kontributor tulisan juga harus demikian. Karena apa? setumpuk ujian-ujian kecil demikian akan berkontribusi terhadap ketangguhan anda menghadapi hal yang lebih besar. Hehe iya kan?
