Urupedia – Menyambut pesta demokrasi di pemilu 2024, Founder Indonesian Millenial Movement (IMM) menginginkan partisipasi bermakna anak muda menjadi penentu masa depan Indonesia.
Sugiyanto selaku Founder Indonesian Millenial Movement (IMM) menuturkan bahwa, generasi muda Indonesia harus ambil peran dan berpartisipasi pada tahapan pemilu 2024 yang akan datang.
“Agar kemudian kontestasinya benar-benar demokratis. Paling tidak, anak muda menjadi kekuatan civil society dalam melakukan pengawasan di pesta demokrasi nantinya,” ungkap pria kelahiran Kota Sampang itu (24/03/2023).
Di samping itu, dirinya merespon positif hasil survei yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga survei Aksara Research and Consulting, yang merilis bahwa antusiasme kaum muda (usia 17-39 tahun) untuk berpartisipasi dalam Pemilu 2024 menyentuh angka 70,7 persen.
“Ini menjadi sinyal baik dalam perhelatan pemilu 2024 yang akan datang. Semoga semangat anak muda ini semakin meningkat dan melek terhadap literasi politik,” pungkasnya.
Perlu diketahui Pemilu 2024 adalah pemilu serentak dengan lima kotak suara, yaitu memilih presiden-wakil presiden, memilih anggota DPD, memilih anggota DPR RI, memilih anggota DPRD Provinsi, dan memilih anggota DPRD Kabupaten/Kota.
